First, thanks for taking the time to view my site.
To me, photography is about…being a mom. Knowing your subject
inside and out. Being prepared for as many things as you can conceive.
Knowing you will make mistakes and trying to do better.
Finding idiosyncrasies endearing. Making a memory of
every feature and gesture. Noting how his head shifts when
he’s thoughtful. How her eyelashes are almost as long as
her nose. The moments of truth, defeat, and triumph. And
the building of fantasies. And most of all,
patience…patience…patience.

Over our eleven years of marriage, my husband, Josh, &
 I’ve been gifted with four wonderful and insane children;
 Dharma, Ash (Josh, Jr.), Holli,& George (the V). You’ll
probably hear tons about them the more you
get to know me, because Family is important, precious and
very dear to me.

One of my biggest regrets is not having a
photographer at my wedding. It wasn’t a fabulous wedding.
I don’t think I looked particularly good. But, since then, we
have lost Josh’s Dad, my brother, Chris, who gave me away, and Josh’s
Grandmother.

 I wish we had those memories framed because I miss
them dearly.
